first AI Photographer

Photo AI is the first AI Photographer and Synthetic Photo Studio, made by me [@levelsio](https://twitter.com/levelsio), a solo founder without a team and without funding (and I like it that way :D).

The concept is that virtual photo shoots are less expensive and time-consuming than real-world picture shoots. Hiring and transporting the model, equipment, and photo shoot team to a location costs money.

Alternatively, if you hire a photographer yourself, a typical shoot can cost $250 to 1500 and provide 75 to 100 pictures.

Instead, with Photo AI, you train a model of yourself (or a model, if you’re a modelling agency) using images of them and create shoots in various settings, including times, places, outfits, and postures. You receive 1,000 photographs per month with the Pro package, or roughly 10 standard photo shootings, which would cost between $2,500 and $15,000 if it were a genuine photo shoot. therefore, 100–500 times less expensive

If you’re an influencer, it might also be helpful if you just want to take pretty pictures of yourself for social media.

It’s not flawless, though; compared to a typical photo shoot, the percentage of bad AI photographs is substantially higher. However, given that it is 100x less expensive, this might not be a big deal.
